Great find in Ocean City, fun place with great food and nice drinks. Really cool art work inside which makes it fun and unique here. Live music was good and staff was friendly. Men's urinal was super cool kegs. Did not feel like a tourist trap, prices were fair and overall worth a visit.

We’ve done takeout from here three times while on vacation, and we were very happy all three times! Their cream of crab soup is delicious and has chunks of crab in it. Their crab cakes…oh my!!! Lots of places *say* “no filler”…these are the poster child for what a crab cake should be. WOW. Amazing! Huge chunks of crab, with the “filler” being shreds of crab! I’ve eaten a lot of crab cakes in my life, from simple diners to fine dining. I’m not exaggerating by saying these are the best I’ve ever had! I enjoyed every bite!
I can also personally recommend the shrimp po boy and the ragin’ Cajun crab roll. The rest of my family enjoyed their meals (seafood mac/cheese, flounder pounder sandwich, stuffed flounder, several rounds of cream of crab soup…); I just can’t remember everything they ordered.

In April when pets are permitted on boardwalk, we stayed for a week at a beautiful boardwalk ocean front condo. Our small senior groomed dog is a rescue with a heart condition & blind. We use a pet stroller. This year, we arrived at Coins & it was immediately noticeable that the restaurant smelt like an extremely strong restroom disinfectant. Had frequented in previous years with same dog (remains in his stroller), but always call before going. Once again, the restaurant confirmed our dog was welcomed. There were mostly all open tables & the hostess walked with us to the last table by the wall, per our request. She handed us our menus & took our drink order. Horrible experience happened when an extremely rude old female manager approached our table & informed us that our blind dog had to be placed under the table & immediately walked away. RUDE & unprofessional!!!! How she has a position that works with the public is beyond us. Hostess came out & apologized. We gladly moved on to a favorite of ours, the restaurant with bar inside the Boardwalk Holiday Inn & Suites where the friendly staff is always welcomed to see us, again. Some others are well known pizza restaurants, Cork Bar, Shenanigans, The Bar, Brass Balls, the Satellite Coffee Shop & cafe along Route 50 for breakfast. So many welcome our business. Have previously referred Coins, but never again!!!!! After leaving we discussed Coins overwhelming smell. Wouldn’t have wanted to become ill… having to try to enjoy our meal with the disinfectant smell that their poor excuse for a manager obviously was oblivious too.
