Happy Jack Pancake House has been serving the families of visitors and locals alike for 49 years. Started by Dick Smith and taken over by Bob Torrey 29 years ago, the restaurant has been a “must-visit” restaurant for generations. Currently located at 26th Street in Ocean City, it is a family run business with two generations of family working there. We pride ourselves on offering good food, fast service, and a friendly staff. We have expanded our season from full time in the summer, to include weekends throughout the year to better serve the Ocean City community. I may have found my new breakfast spot in OC. This was located close to the Hilton where we were staying at. They have plenty of parking behind the restaurant. We arrived around 9 AM and didn't have to wait. Our waitress, Brenda, was such a delight. She was so nice and friendly. They have a large menu, so it was hard to choose from. I have to say though, their pancakes are really good.
I had the Maryland Benedict, and it had lots of crab meat. I liked this dish. Reminded of the Eggs Delmarva over at the Starboard. Other dishes we had was the breakfast burrito, Scrapple and Eggs and Chocolate chip pancakes. Everyone enjoyed their breakfast. I recommend coming early if you don't want to wait, but they do have a large dining room with outdoor seating.

Best. Breakfast. Ever. I'm a steak snob and didn't have high expectations for the steak and eggs breakfast, but it literally blew my mind. First, it was cooked perfectly medium rare. And while I typically prefer ribeyes, this cut of sirloin was tender and flavorful. This was the best meal we've had in OC this week and it's not even close.

The best breakfast in OCMD! The omelettes are amazing, portions are great. Staff is so nice and patient, and service is quick. Ava was such a great server, so kind and she really went the extra mile. The vibe is great and so are the prices. Make sure to get there early as the place fills up quick !
